Community-Informed Report Identifies 9 New Areas of Need for Regenerative Medicine Standards
Based on direct input from the regenerative medicine standards community, SCB has published an updated version of the Community Perspectives: Needed Standards in Regenerative Medicine report. The report outlines standards needs identified by the community that could have the greatest benefit to the regenerative medicine field and improve the safety and quality of products.

For each of the 40+ areas of need, the report identifies the ways in which the community is already working to address the need—including SCB-coordinated projects—and proposes immediate next steps that stakeholders can undertake to further drive standardization. To increase the usability of the report for the regenerative medicine community, SCB is developing a web-based, interactive version of the report, anticipated to be released in Spring 2021.
