ISO/TC 276 Biotechnology US TAG Meeting

Registration is open for the ISO/TC 276 Biotechnology US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) meeting being held May 20-21 at the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Rockville, MD. This meeting can be attended both in person and virtually and is open to those who are registered with ISO/TC 276 US TAG. If you would like to attend, but are not currently a part of the TAG, please contact dhenke@regenmedscb.org or clare.allocca@nist.gov to join the TAG and then register.

During this two-day meeting the current topics under development at the international level of ISO/TC 276 will be discussed to determine the viewpoint of the US delegation prior to the international meeting being held in June. Some of the current topics that will be discussed include:

• Cell Transportation 

• Rapid Microbiological Testing

• Biobanking of MSCs

• Cell Line Authentication

• Data Management

• Terminology

• Biobanking

• Nucleic Acid Synthesis

• Manufacturing Equipment for Cell Therapy
